Tomorrow night I will attend Sullivan Norths Graduation for the class of 2011. I have four very dear friends whose high school career will be ending. This is a bitter sweet time in everyones life. Friends will be lost, challenges will be presented, and new relationships will be made. But why does everyone remember the end? My graduation night I went to my boyfriends house and passed out. I woke up at 3 in the morning and went home. That was my big finale to all my years of schooling. I'm sure most people have a better end than that, but to get on with my point, why dwell on the final curtain when you should be remembering the entire performance?
Friend 1: OLIVIA.
Once upon a time there were 4 little girls that attended Vermont United Methodist. One Sunday morning, and I will always remember this even though the memory has faded, we were supposed to do some sort of flag dance type thing and Madison was on my side of the stage and you and Katie were on the other and you threw a fit until they moved you over to my side. That's what I call a friend. A kid that will cause a darn uprising just to be closer to you. I have always admired the way you carry yourself. You have always been an assertive woman and I love it! From your silky brunette hair down to your diva shoes you are always so put together. I know sometimes things are rough for you and it seems the whole world is against you and I know you hurt inside. But what I love is you never let it show. You are always polished. And wherever your journey leads you...well it's to greatness. I love you. XOXO.
Friend 2: MADISON.
My oldest friend. Where to begin. I've got pictures of us together from the time you were born. I can't even begin to write of all the memories we share but I know of one that has brought us where we are today. Dog poop. We were two big kids climbin up the slide excited to be spending the entire day together and we slid right down into a big 'ol pile of dog doo doo. But you know what, I strongly believe that's why we carry so much humor and sarcasm along with us today. I just hope we never lose that. Our smiles, our happiness, our sisterly bond, it all means so much to me you could never imagine. I wish the absolute best for you and I know you wont give up. You are way to competitive for that. Your future is bright. And I can't wait to be with you when you take all those wonderful beautiful steps into creating your own life. I love you. XOXO
Friend 3: CYDNEY.
I lived with you for like a whole summer. We did everything together. Me and you. Kristen and Chels. We were just always there for eachother. I don't know where that went, but I'll never forget it. Night swimming and doing wierd work out videos in the living room. And Livie always humped that bear and it freakin cracked me up everytime. I think I have a video of it somewhere. You are the strongest woman I know. I have never and will never have another friend that is like you. You have never been anything but yourself around me. You have never been fake, you've always been you. Trustworthy, Dependable, and the best vent system in the world. Success is headed your way. There is no doubt about that. Have a good time away at college, but don't forget what led you there or lose who you are. Because you are the best friend I could ever ask for. I love you. XOXO.
Friend 4: BECCA.
Last but deffinately not least is my bestie. Becca is like sunshine. You are always positive, supportive, and sympathetic. My memory for us? Reliant K concert-the begining of our friendship. Music videos for no reason-that's what keeps us entertained. Dude where's my car?-My room was like night all the time. Random dancing in the car at a red light-the lady laughed at us and we just laughed back. I cant pick a memory that was my favorite. But it was awesome watergirling along side of you and sharing my secrets with you. I know North is what your comfortable with and where you have so many memories, but don't be too sad. Your comming to college with me and we are going to live it up. Beach trip and random piercings here we come. All our lives we've been good, but now, woooahhoaahh, we're thinking, what. the heck! I love you. XOXO.
To all my friends-regret nothing. Everything up to this point has made us who we are.
Congrats Girls!

The Beginning
Trying to think of a way to begin my first blog for 5 minutes has not proven to be very effective so this is what I came up with. Recently I have become single. I am now moving from a very happy time in my life to the unknown. But I am embracing the change. You see with every end comes a new beginning and this is the start of mine. The transition phase is over. I have accepted the end of that chapter and recovered from it. Now is the time to continue with my novel. These next chapters are all up to God. I am going with the flow and letting him lead me, and let me tell you, it feels good. I like being in control and I like knowing whats up ahead, but at this point I am done trying to force life to be what I want and I am ready to let it be what I need. I'll keep you posted on how it works out for me. Stay tuned.
